Ahead of the MWC event that is scheduled for next week, LG today has come forward with three new smartphones that it will be showcasing at the event, namely, Q60, K50, and K40. The phones have durable metal body that are MIL-STD 810G certified for abnormal temperatures, pressures, and humidity. The certification also cover their ability to withstand thermal shock, vibration, and impact.

These all have dedicated button at the side for one-click quick access to Google Assistant. The Q60 and K50 features 6.26-inch FullVision HD+ (1520x720) Waterdrop LCD display with 19:9 aspect ratio, while the K50, which is the smallest of the three, comes with a 5.7-inch HD+ (1440x720) 18:9 display without a notch.

Unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz powered all the device, coupled with up to 64GB of storage (the K50 and K40 have 32GB storage). The storage can expanded up to 2TB via MicroSD card. The Q60 and K50 are provided with 3GB of RAM, while the K40 goes for 2GB RAM. Security is handled by fingerprint sensors mounted to the back of the phones.

The Q60 comes equipped with triple rear-facing camera - the main camera has a 16MP sensor, the secondary is a 2MP depth-sensing sensor, while the third sports a 5MP Super Wide Angle lens. The K50 on the other hand sports 13MP+2MP dual rear camera.

The K40 goes for something more subtle; it has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter, both accompanied by LED flash. Connectivity options included with the phones are Bluetooth, WiFi, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack. DTS:X 3D Surround Sound provide immersive listening experience when using compatible headphones on the three phones.

The Q60 and K50 are powered by 3500mAh batteries, while the K40 is powered by a 3000mAh battery. LG will be displaying the phones at its booth at MWC from February 25th - 28th.
