YU Ace with 4000mAh Battery, 18:9 Display, Android Oreo Official in India

YU Ace

YU, a sub-brand of Micromax company, has announced its latest smartphone in India called Ace. The device is entry-level in terms of specs and so is the price. It comes in two models— the first equipped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, while the second model has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The price are Rs 5999 ($90) and Rs 6999 ($105), respectively.

Technically, the YU Ace features a 5.45-inch HD+ (1440x720) LCD 2.5D curved display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, while it is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 64-bit processor clocked at 1.5GHz, clubbed with PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU. The phone has an external MicroSD slot that let users expand the storage up to 128GB.

In photography, it sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with a LED flash, and there is a 5-megapixel camera at the front for selfie, also accompanied by a LED flash. The YU Ace runs Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. Connectivity provided are Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, WiFi, 3G, GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB.

It has a dedicated dual SIM slot and is powered by a 4000mAh battery. The YU Ace will be available in Electric Blue, Charcoal Gray, and Rose Gold colors when it go on sale on September 6th. It is Flipkart exclusive.
