Spice today launched its first Android Go edition smartphone in India dubbed F311. The device as could be expected comes with entry-level specs, but it will perfectly perform considering the half-baked Android 8.1 OS it runs.

It features a 5.45-inch FWVGA+ (960x480) IPS Full Lamination display with an aspect ratio of 18:9, and it is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor running at a speed of 1.1GHz, paired with 1GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. It includes a 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a MicroSD card.

At the back of the smartphone is a single 5-megapixel autofocus camera with an f/2.0 aperture and LED, while it comes equipped with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, also accompanied by a LED flash. The F311 has a fingerprint sensor at the back for biometric authentication and a dedicated "Share key" at the side for one-touch social media sharing.

In connectivity, it supports Bluetooth, WiFi, 4G VoLTE, 3G, GPS, and Micro-USB. The phone has hybrid dual SIM slot; measures 153x73.55x8.25mm, and is backed by a 2400mAh battery.

The Spice F311 pricing is set at Rs 5,599 ($84). It will be available in Black, Rose Gold and Phantom Red colors when it go on sale in the coming days.
