Samsung is not left behind as many tech companies begin to draw the curtain off what they have in store for the upcoming CES event that is schedule to begin on January 9. The firm had earlier announced two products that it will be bringing to the event, its latest 34-inch QLED curved 4K monitor and a premium sound bar, but that's not all, Samsung has yet again unwrapped a new convertible laptop that will be making it to the event.

The Notebook 7 Spin (2018) as named, is a medium-range convertible laptop running Windows 10 operating system. It has a stylish elegant body made of metal that is not too thick at 18.5mm, with the overall weight pegged at 1.53 kilograms. The convertible feature is made manifest in its strong hinge, which allows the display to be flipped up to 360-degree for convenience of use in different environment, letting it to be used either as a laptop or a tablet.

The laptop features a 13.3-inch Full HD (1920x1080) PLS display that is touch sensitive. The display also supports multitouch functionality and is readily made to work with Samsung Active Pen, which will be available separately. Powering the Notebook 7 Spin (2018) is an 8th-generation Intel Core i5 (Coffee Lake) quad-core processor, clubbed with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD.

The convertible has an onboard fingerprint scanner that works with Windows Hello; a backlit keyboard with 1.5mm keystroke, and a VGA (0.3MP) webcam. Connectivity included are USB 2.0 port, USB 3.0 port, USB Type-C, HDMI, and HP/Mic.

The Notebook 7 Spin (2018) will be available in select markets starting from U.S in first quarter of 2018. Samsung will showcase it at CES next week.
