 Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Bezel-less Showdown Concept

Xiaomi is all set to announce a new flagship device next month—the second iteration of its Mi Mix smartphone to be precise dubbed Mi MIX 2. The company has sent out invites today for the launch event which is scheduled for September 11 in China.

The phone has been in the news for a while with different speculations and expectations being said here and there, but above all, the foremost thing that is expected to make a significant manifest and that is explicitly undeniable is that the Mi Mix 2 will follow its predecessor footstep in screen and display aspects.

As teased by Xiaomi itself, the Mi Mix 2 will have a bezel-less design just as its predecessor. Infact, its screen-to-body ratio is touted to be 93%, which is 3% more bezel-less when compared with the Mi Mix 90% screen-to-body ratio. Xiaomi is calling it 2.0 bezel-less display. In the teaser image, the phone front camera is placed at the bottom right of the screen, probably due to the lack of vacant space on its ultra-thin top bezel.

We are still in the dark regarding its specifications but rumours has it that the Mi Mix 2 will have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor embedded under its screen. The certainty of this information however is still in question and should be taking lightly.
