Selfie-Focused Gionee A1 Lite with 20MP Front Shooter Announced


Gionee has announced a new mid flagship device called A1 Lite, a mini, less expensive variant of Gionee A1 that was launched at MWC earlier this year. It has the same curved metal body and runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS as its senior, but this comes with a slightly smaller 5.3-inch display with a lesser HD resolution compared to full-HD on the former.

The processor, RAM and storage capacity also suffers major downgrade. The front camera however, has been bump up from 16MP to 20MP which is the phone main highlights. The A1 Lite also maintains roughly the same battery capacity as A1 with 10mAh difference—4000mAh to be precise.

The A1 Lite is arriving to Nepal first. It will be available for pre-orders in the said region from Sunday 18th of June for NPR 26,999 ($259).
