Micromax has reportedly launched Canvas Mega 2 Plus Q426+, its latest 6-inch Android phablet in India with 4G VoLTE. The new device is a successor to Canvas Mega 2 that was introduced in May last year. The specs has been pushed up in RAM and storage sector while other specifications remains the same.
It features a 6-inch IPS display with qHD (540x960) resolution, and is powered by an unspecified quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, slammed with 2GB of RAM. The phone comes with a 16GB of internal storage, which is further expandable via MicroSD card.
Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, the Canvas Mega 2 Plus offers dual SIM functionality with dual standby. At the rear, it is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash, while a 5-megapixel camera resides at the front for taking selfie. Apart from 4G VoLTE, the device also supports Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G, 2G, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
The Micromax Canvas Mega 2 Plus wears a price tag of Rs 7,499 ($111). It is available at selected stores across the region.
