TCL 562 with Helio P10, 3GB RAM, Fingerprint Sensor Launched at $164

TCL has launched a new mid-budget smartphone in India called TCL 562. The company earlier this month introduced 560 with eyeprint recognition, and though the 562 lacks this smart security feature, it comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded beneath the physical home button at the front.

The phone features a 5.5-inch capacitive touch display with a brilliant full-HD (1920x1080) resolution and pixel density of 401ppi. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with a clock speed of 1.8GHz, slammed with 3GB of RAM and Mali-T860 GPU. Sitting on the inside is a 32GB of storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via MicroSD card.

The TCL 562 boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and supports dual SIM functionality. In photography, it boasts a 13-megapixel rear shooter with f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and twin-tone LED flash, while a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens camera is equipped at the front, also accompanied with a LED flash. Connectivity options onboard includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed a 2960mAh battery.

The TCL 562 will be exclusively available on Amazon India starting from 3rd of August at a price of Rs 10,999 ($164 USD). It comes in Gold colour option.
