Intex Launches Aqua Sense 5.1 with 5" FWVGA display, 2500mAh battery

Intex Aqua Sense 5.1

Intex has launched a new budget smartphone in India dubbed Aqua Sense 5.1, a downgraded version and successor of Aqua Sense 5.0 released by the company in August last year. Unlike its predecessor that packs 5-inch qHD (960x540) display and 5MP rear camera, this comes with a 5-inch FWVGA (854x480) display and is equipped with a 2MP rear camera.

However, the Aqua Sense 5.1 runs a slightly updated Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box instead of KitKat on previous version.

Intex Aqua Sense 5.1 Specifications

  • 5-inch TN display with FWVGA (854x480 pixels) resolution
  • 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor
  • 512MB RAM
  • 8GB built-in storage (expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card)
  • 2-megapixel rear camera, dual-LED flash
  • 0.3-megapixel front camera
  • OS: Android 5.1 Lollipop
  • Dual SIM
  • Connectivity: WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB
  • Battery: 2500mAh
  • Dimensions: 142 x 72.7 x 9.6mm
