Celkon CT111 is a $44 Android tablet with 7" Display, Quad-Core Chipset

Celkon CT111 7-inch Tablet

Celkon has introduced CT111, its latest affordable Android tablet in India, wearing a price tag of Rs 2,999 ($44 USD). It is expected to go on sale in coming days across the region.

The Celkon CT111 is one of the cheapest tablet ever released by the company. Despite its cheap price tag, the tablet still manage to pack a 7-inch display, but with a poor resolution of 800x480 pixels. Also, it runs the dated Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out-of-the-box which is atleast ok at that price range. Though its built-in storage and RAM are not officially mentioned, we expect atleast 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage to be inside along with 1.3GHz quad-core processor that comes with it.

The Celkon CT111 doesn't offers voice-calling functionality, but it supports 3G via Dongle. It houses a 2-megapixel camera at the rear without LED flash, and a secondary 2-megapixel camera at the front. Other connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, and USB with OTG. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery.
