Micromax has launched Canvas Fantabulet F666, its latest voice-calling enabled tablet in India, priced at Rs 7,499 ($112 USD). It is exclusively available for purchase via e-commerce website Flipkart.

Its naming seems to be a memorable one and fantalicious we suppose, and the bulet too. Specwise, the device features a 6.98-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It has two SIM slots, both of which can be use to make and receive phone calls with support of 3G. Diving in, the Canvas Fantabulet F666 is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8382 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, slammed with 1GB of RAM.

It houses an 8GB of built-in storage with external storage support via MicroSD card (up to 32GB). Sitting at the back is an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, while a 2-megapixel camera is placed at the front for taking selfie. On the connectivity front, the Canvas Fantabulet F666 supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi with Hotspot, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, FM radio and Micro-USB. It is turn on by a 3,000mAh battery.

Micromax is touting dual speakers onboard. The company claims the speakers are made of composite module tooling with Aluminium Film Diaphragm (AFD), enhanced with DTS technology for quality sound output.
