Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite

With just few hours to CES, Lenovo today has took the wraps off its latest photocentric smartphone, Vibe S1 Lite, a mini variant of Vibe S1 introduced at IFA in September last year. The device is priced at $199 USD and will be available in first-quarter of 2016.

Just like its big brother, the Vibe S1 Lite features same 5-inch IPS full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with 440ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU, which is lower when compare with 1.7GHz octa-core processor on Vibe S1. The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box, and has hybrid dual SIM slots that enables the second SIM slot to be use as MicroSD card slot.

A 16GB storage is placed inside, which is further expandable via MicroSD card. Sitting at the back is a 13-megapixel camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and twin-tone LED flash, while an 8-megapixel camera with Sony sensor and a LED flash is equipped at the front for taking selfie. In connectivity compartment, the Vibe S1 Lite supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi with Hotspot, 3G, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2,700mAh battery.

The smartphone comes in Matte White and Matte Blue color variants.
