Xolo One HD With 5-inch 720p Display, Android 5.1 Lollipop Launched

Xolo has launched a new smartphone in India, One HD, an upgraded version and successor of Xolo One released in November last year. It is priced at Rs 4,777 ($72 USD) and will be exclusively available on Amazon India starting this week.

Specwise, the Xolo One HD features a 5.0-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution, which is quite an upgrade from 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display on its predecessor. It offers dual SIM functionality and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. Under the hood, it is driven by a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz, slammed with 1GB of RAM and Mali 400 GPU.

The device packs an 8GB of internal storage with external storage support via MicroSD card (up to 32GB). An 8-megapixel camera is placed at the rear with LED flash, while it harbours a 5-megapixel camera at the front for taking selfie. In connectivity aspect, the Xolo One HD support Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi with Hotspot, 3G HSPA+, 2G, GPS, FM radio and Micro-USB. It is fuelled by a 2300mAh battery, an improvement from 1700mAh on previous version.
