Micromax is set to release a new 4G enabled smartphone in India dubbed Canvas Fire 4G+ Q412. The device is listed on the company official webpage along with specifications, however, its pricing and availability details is not revealed.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 4G+ is a more powerful variant and successor of Canvas Fire 4G launched along with Canvas Play 4G in September. The new variant features a larger 4.7-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution compares to 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display of its predecessor. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor clocked at 1.0GHz, alongside with Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It houses an 8GB of built-in storage which is expandable via MicroSD card (up to 32GB).

The smartphone offers dual-SIM functionality with 4G LTE support as its name suggest, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. In addition, it sports dual front-facing speakers just as its junior. The Canvas Fire 4G+ comes equipped with an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfie. Connectivity options included besides LTE are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi with Hotspot, 3G, 2G, GPS, and FM radio. It is backed by a 2000mAh battery.
