LG Introduces G Pad II 8.3 LTE Voice Calling Tablet With Lollipop In Korea

The Korean tech company, LG, today has launched a new Android tablet under its G Pad series in Korea called G Pad II 8.3 LTE. The device is listed on the firm webpage along with its specifications while pricing details is not revealed. It will be from December 23 on local network carrier LG U+, availability for other markets is not known.

The tablet features an 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. A 16GB storage is placed inside which is further expandable via MicroSD card (up to 128GB).

The LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and has a single SIM slot with support of voice calling. At the rear, it is equipped with an 8-megapixel autofocus camera without LED flash, while a 2-megapixel camera occupy the front. Connectivity options included with G Pad II 8.3 LTE are 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi, 3G, and GPS. It is backed by a 4,800mAh battery.
