Xolo has launched BLACK 1X, its latest budget smartphone in India, and successor of BLACK that was released in July. The device will be exclusively available on e-commerce website Snapdeal via flash sale starting from first week of November at a price of Rs 9,999 ($153 USD).
Specwise, the BLACK 1X features a 5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with full-HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, protected by Dragon trail glass, a downgrade from 5.5-inch FHD in BLACK. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz, slammed with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM, an upgrade from 2GB RAM in its predecessor.
A 32GB storage is placed inside with external storage support. The Xolo Black 1X runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box topped with company's Hive Atlas UI, and offers hybrid dual SIM functionality that let the second SIM slot to be use as MicroSD card slot. At the rear, it is equipped with a 13-megapixel PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) camera, coupled with LED flash, while it harbours a 5-megapixel selfie camera at the front also with LED flash.
On the connectivity front, the BLACK 1X support Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, FM radio and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2400mAh battery.
