Lava has launched a new smartphone in India named Pixel V2, the successor of Pixel V1 that was released in July. The device will be available starting from next week with a price tag of Rs 10,750 (US$168).

The Lava Pixel V2 runs Star OS 2.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and has two SIM card slots with dual standby. It features a 5.0-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with Oleophobic coating, protected by Asahi Dragontrail glass. Under the hood, the smartphone is driven by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz alongside with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU.

There is a 16GB of built-in storage onboard which is further expandable via MicroSD card (up to 32GB). The Pixel V2 comes with 13-megapixel autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash while it bears a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens camera at the front with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. Connectivity options included are 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, 2G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, GPS, Micro-USB and FM radio. A 2,500mAh battery turn it on.
