Acer still have more in store to showcase at the on-going IFA2015 pre-opening event in Berlin as the firm again announced a new gaming tablet in partnership with Gameloft called Predator 8. The device is expected to be introduce in the U.S in November with US$299 price tag. It will also be available in the UK around October this year.

The Acer Predator 8 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and has Asphalt 8 pre-loaded out-of-the-box. Also, it comes pre-installed with over 300,000 different games. In physical aspect, the tablet measures 8.7x5x0.34in and weighs of 500 grams. It comes equipped with four front-facing speakers enhanced with Quadio, Dolby Audio, and Acer's own DSP for best sound quaility during gameplay.

Specwise, the device features an 8-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, zero-air-gap technology, which is further boost with Acer patented ColorBlast tech that produces 100% NTSC color gamut. The Predator 8 is powered by an Intel Atom X7 processor backed with 2GB of RAM and Intel HD Graphics (Gen 8 LP).

It comes in two storage variants, 32GB and 64GB, both of which are expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card. A 5-megapixel camera is equipped at the rear without LED flash, while a 2-megapixel camera sits at the front. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth and Wifi.
