ZTE V3 Youth, Energy and Extreme with Premium Alloy Body, LTE Launched


China seems to host lots of launches and gatherings on Wednesday, during the launching of Meizu M2 in one part of China, ZTE also head to stage in another area of the city announcing three new budget smartphones all carrying one name but different extention, V3 Youth, V3 Energy and V3 Extreme. Though all the three device sports identical specifications physically and internally, there seems to be differences in their connectivity. For instance, the V3 Youth dual-SIM both support 4G LTE while V3 Extreme offers something much more better which we're yet to fully figure out. There is different in their pricing as well, the cheapest which is V3 Youth costs CN¥ 999 ($160), V3 Energy at CN¥ 1299 ($208) while the V3 Extreme is priced at CN¥ 1499 ($240).

The ZTE V3 is wrapped in a full aluminium body, packing a fingerprint scanner at the rear below the camera. It features a 5.5-inch IPS display with full-HD resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box topped with Nubia UI 3.0. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor slammed with 2GB of RAM.

There is a 16GB of built-in storage onboard which is further expandable via MicroSD card (up to 128GB). At the rear, the dual-SIM enabled ZTE V3 houses a 13-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, while it bears a 5-megapixel camera the front. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. A 3,000mAh battery turn on the device.
