Intex Launches Aqua 4G+, The Firm First 4G LTE Smartphone With Lollipop

Intex has debuted its first 4G LTE Android smartphone in India named as Aqua 4G+. The phone was announced by the firm on friday and will go on sale starting from next week with a price tag of Rs 9,499 ($150 USD).

The Intex Aqua 4G+ runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and offers dual-SIM functionality with one SIM supporting 4G while the other works with 3G only. It comes with a 5-inch IPS display touting a HD (720p) resolution and Dragontrail Glass protection. The device is driven by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz alongside with 2GB of RAM.

There is a 16GB of built-in storage onboard which can be further expanded via MicroSD card. The Intex Aqua 4G+ houses a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash at the rear that is capable of recording full-HD (1080p) video with Slow Motion recording option while it is equipped with a secondary 5-megapixel front camera.

Connectivity options provided are Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G (HSPA+), 2G, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB. It is fuelled by a 2300mAh battery. The Aqua 4G+ by Intex will be available in White and Black color options.
