iBall Launches mSLR Cobalt4 With Changeable Camera Lens, Octa-Core SoC

iBall has unleashed a new photocentric smartphone in India dubbed as mSLR Cobalt 4. The phone carries a price tag of Rs 8,499 ($133 USD) and will be available in coming days.

The main highlight of iBall mSLR Cobalt4 is its changeable camera lens. It comes with four interchangeable lens for making different shots, zoom 8x for capturing long distance object, fisheye lens, wide-angle lens, and macro lens with 10x magnification.

Specwise, the smartphone features a 5-inch IPS display with qHD (960 × 540 pixels) resolution and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box with no words on Lollipop update. It is driven by an octa-core Cortex A7 processor clocked at 1.4GHz alongside with 1GB of RAM.

There is an 8GB of built-in storage onboard which is further expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card. The dual-SIM enabled iBall mSLR Cobalt4 packs an 8-megapixel autofocus camera at the rear accompanied with dual-LED flash while it is equipped with a 3.2-megapixel camera at the front. Connectivity options included are 3G (HSPA+), Bluetooth, Wifi, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2000mAh battery.
