Spice on Wednesday has set loose a new entry-level smartphone in India, the Stellar 405. The phone is priced at Rs 3,299 ($53 USD) and it's available for purchase.

The Stellar 405 offers dual-SIM option and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It features a 4-inch TFT display flaunting a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with a clock speed of 1.2GHz slammed with 512MB of RAM.

There is a 4GB of built-in storage onboard which can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. The Spice Stellar 405 packs a 3.2-megapixel camera with LED flash at the rear and houses a 1.3-megapixel camera at the front. Connectivity options included are 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB. It fuelled by a 1500mAh battery.

Last week, Spice launched its first 4G LTE enabled smartphone dubbed as Stellar 519. The phone comes with 5-inch display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 8-megapixel rear camera, and 3.2-megapixel front camera. It is priced at Rs 8,499 ($136).
