Elephone, the chinese firm whose name is not well known in the western part of the world has debuted a new Android smartphone with support of Worldmode 4G LTE, making 4G network accessible on all mobile carriers.

The phone which was named as P8000 uses MediaTek MT6753 chipset which support Worldmode LTE. Not a popular chipset to say, it has hardly been used by any phone manufacturer.

Specwise, the Elephone P8000 features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080*1920 pixel) IPS display and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The MediaTek MT6753 is an octa-core processor which is clocked at 1.5GHz for best performance, backed with 3GB of RAM. It comes with a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash while it packs a 5-megapixel camera at the front.

The smartphone include a 16GB of built-in storage and offers 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wifi, 3G, 2G, and GPS/A-GPS as connectivity options. It is powered by a huge 4200mAh battery.

The Elephone P8000 is expected to start hitting shelves before third-quarter of 2015 with a price tag of $210 USD (#41,800 NGN). Considering 3GB RAM, octa-core processor, Lollipop and LTE onboard, the phone really kills it. It's such a good buy.
