For those who has purchased any of this smartphones, we are here to provide the easiest way to root it and at the same time install CWM (ClockWorkMod) custom recovery for flashing flashable files which in turn helps in customization and optimization of Android system. This tutorial covers all the three device and the procedures involved is explained in a step-by-step guide, making it easy for everyone to understand.

His procedure is what we are about to share in an easy-to-understand way.

First, you will need to download this files to your PC desktop.


  • Enable USB Debugging on your phone (Go to Settings >Device Info > Tap on build number 7 or 8 times, Developer Options will be activated. Now go to Settings > Developer Options > and activate USB Debugging).
  • Enable Unknown Sources (Go to Settings > Security > you'll see the option).

Now follow this steps to root Lenovo A7000

  1. Extract the SP Flash Tool.zip file to your desktop, double-click on it to launch
  2. You'll see the Scatter Loading File menu at the left side, click on it and browse to MT6572 Scatter File you download earlier
  3. Your phone will be automatically selected
  4. Click on Options, select Download, then Tick the "DA DL Checksum"
  5. Close the Options tab, click on Download, then select "Download Only"
  6. Check the box beside the recovery, browse to CWM Recovery File you download earlier and select.
  7. Wait for 1 min (not necessary), turn off your phone, pull off the battery and insert it back.
  8. Plug the phone back to PC (don't turn it on), SP will detect it. Hit the big "Download" button, you'll see some movement in progress bar.
  9. Wait till the progress hit the complete threshold, you'll see a green tick indicating that the process is complete.

Congrats! you have successfully root your Lenovo A7000 and have CWM Recovery installed. To boot into recovery, simply press the "Volume Up + Volume Down + Power button" at the same time.

How To Root Lenovo A6000 And Install CWM Recovery

Rooting Lenovo A6000 is quite easy, much more easier than Lenovo A7000. Follow the steps below.

First download this files

Make sure you enable USB Debugging and Unknown Sources (explained in A7000 rooting)

Lets get it done.

  1. Connect the phone to PC via USB.
  2. Double-click on Minimal ADB/Fastboot to launch installation process.
  3. Copy the CWM recovery (CTRL C), locate C:\Program Files\Minimal\ADB and Fastboot folder and paste it (CTRL V).
  4. Rename the Recovery to "recovery.img". In the same folder, right-click and select "Open Command".
  5. In the command interface type adb reboot bootloader. The phone will auto restart and boot in bootloader.
  6. Now type fastboot flash recovery recovery.img and press Enter key. You will see a confirmation. Unplug the phone.
  7. Press the Volume Up + Volume Down + Power button simultaneously to boot in recovery.
  8. Use the volume button to navigate to install/flash zip menu, browse to "SuperSU zip" you download earlier which is placed at the root and select it.

Congrats! You've successfully root your Lenovo A6000 and has CWM recovery installed.

How To Root Lenovo A5000 in One Click

Follow this steps to root Lenovo A5000

First download this files to your PC

Proceed below

  1. Install ADB Universal Driver (make sure you follow all instructions during installation).
  2. Plug your phone to PC via USB.
  3. Extract iRoot.zip file and click its exe file to launch.
  4. Click the root button.
