Samsung has launched a new high budget tablet in Germany under its tab series dubbed as Galaxy Tab A 9.7. The device will be available in two variant, the Wifi-only version is priced at €299 (Roughly $330 USD) while the LTE version is priced at €349 (Roughly $384 USD).

The Galaxy Tab A series was first announced in Russia last month in 8.0-inch version and 9.7-inch version, the later will arrive to Germany before May.

Specwise, the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a 9.7-inch display with a resolution of 1024×768 pixels and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. Under the hood, it is driven by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (unspecified) coupled with 1.5GB of RAM for Wifi version and 2GB of RAM for LTE version.

It packs a 5-megapixel camera at the rear and houses a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 comes with a 16GB of built-in storage that is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card and offers Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and GLONASS. It is backed by a 6000mAh battery.
