LeTV Le 1, Le 1 Pro, And Le 1 Max With USB Type-C, Lollipop Rocks China

The Chinese firm known as LeTV has launched three new high-budget smartphones in China, the Le 1, Le 1 Pro, and Le 1 Max. The phones comes in different storage variants with different pricing. The Le 1 is priced at CNY 1499 ($242 USD) for 16GB version, CNY 1599 ($259 USD) for 32GB version, and CNY 1799 ($291 USD) for 64GB version. The Le 1 Pro is priced at CNY 2499 ($404 USD) for 32GB version and CNY 2699 ($437 USD) for 64GB version while pricing for LeTV Le 1 Max is yet to be revealed.

The most notable feature on all the device is USB Type-C port onboard which makes them the third device in 2015 to packs such after Apple Macbook 2015 Editions and Chromebook Pixel. Innos should have earn the honor with D600 but they failed to launch it in time and now another firm has took their place. We warned them (don't we?).

The first and the cheapest on the list which is LeTV Le 1 features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) and runs EUI based on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It offers dual-SIM functionality and comes with Dolby Audio and DTS for best sound quality. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 64-bit 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795) processor slammed with 3GB of RAM and PowerVR G6200 GPU. Notably, the Helio X10 processor is one of the new chipset launched by MediaTek at Mobile World Congress in March.

At the rear, the Le 1 sports a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with OIS and LED flash while it houses a 5-megapixel front camera for selfie shot. Connectivity options included are 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with Hotspot, 3G (HSPA+), GPRS/EDGE, and GPS. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery.

On the other hand, the LeTV Le 1 Pro features a 5.5-inch Quad-HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) IPS display and packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor (same processor that powers Mi Note Pro and ZTE Nubia Z9 Max) coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 430 GPU. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, OIS, Sony IMX214 sensor, and LED flash while it also touts a 4-megapixel front camera.

Much like its junior, the Le 1 Pro also runs Lollipop-based EUI OS and support dual-SIM. Connectivity options remains and battery capacity remains the same with LeTV Le 1. It is available in Gold and Silver color variants.

Lastly, the LeTV Le 1 Max features a larger 6.33-inch IPS display with a Quad-HD resolution of 2560x1440 pixels. It support dual-SIM and runs lollipop-based EUI OS. The smartphone is driven by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 430 GPU. It is equipped a 21-megapixel camera with OIS, Sony IMX230 sensor, and dual-toned LED flash at the rear while it harbours a 4-megapixel camera at the front.

Unlike others, the Le 1 Max packs a fingerprint sensor and there is Wireless HDMI, and MHL 3.0 for TV output onboard. Connectivity options included are Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with Hotspot, NFC, 4G LTE, 3G (HSPA+), GPRS/EDGE, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.1. It is backed by a 3400mAh battery.

Availability outside China for this devices are not known.
