Lenovo A7000 Officially Launched In India, Priced At Rs 8,999

Lenovo at MWC last month launched the A7000 which later went on sale in China. The good news is, the smartphone will arrive to India today and will be exclusively available for purchase on on e-commerce website Flipkart at Rs 8,999 ($144 USD) through flash sales which is expected to begin on 15th of April.

The Lenovo A7000 is A6000 successor and it is claimed as the first smartphone to comes with Dolby Atmos. It features a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box.

The A7000 support dual-SIM functionality and packs a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6752M processor clocked at 1.5GHz alongside with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T760 GPU. At the rear, it sports an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash while it also houses a 5-megapixel front camera.

Connectivity options included are 4G LTE, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, and GPS/A-GPS. It is backed by a 2900mAh battery. It will be available in two color variants Pearl White, and Onyx Black.
