Intex Aqua Dream With 5.5-inch HD Display, Octa-Core Processor Launched

Intex has added a new mid-budget smartphone to its portfolio in India dubbed as Aqua Dream. The phone is priced at Rs 10,390 ($167 USD) while availability details is yet to be revealed.

The Aqua Dream features a 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It offers dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. Under the hood, the smartphone is driven by an octa-core MediaTek MT6592M processor with a clock speed of 1.4GHz, slammed with 1GB of RAM.

It is equipped with a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash at the rear which includes Panorama, Face detection, HDR, Burst shot, Smile shot, and Scene detection photo effects and enhancement tools while it also sports a 5-megapixel selfie-enabled front camera. The Aqua Dream packs an 8GB of built-in storage that is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card and offers 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is powered by a 2300mAh battery that can deliver up to 300 hours of standby time as claimed by the Intex.

The Intex Aqua Dream will be available in three different colors, Champagne, White, and Black.
