Lava has launched a new Android tablet in India, the Xtron Mega. The device is listed on the firm website without pricing and availability details. However, we expect it to go on sale very soon.

According to listing, the Xtron Mega runs the dated Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean and its driven by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor (unknown chipset) slammed with 1GB of RAM. It sports a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. There is a 16GB built-in storage onboard which is expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD. The tablet packs a 2-megapixel camera with LED flash at the rear and houses a VGA camera at the front.

On the connectivity front, the Lava Xtron Mega support Bluetooth, Wifi, HDMI, and GPS/A-GPS. It is fuelled by a 6000mAh battery. Disappointedly, the tablet doesn't support voice calling.

On Friday, Lava launched the Iris 465 in India at Rs 4,499 ($72). The mobile support 3G and dual-SIM and features 4.5-inch display, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage, 3.2-megapixel rear camera, and 0.3-megapixel front camera.
