After much tease and rumours, LG has finally unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the G Flex 2. The phone which is the successor of G Flex was unwrapped on Monday at the ongoing CES event and will first hit Korea markets before end of January followed by other international markets. However, pricing details is yet to mentioned.

LG G Flex 2 Specifications

The smartphone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box and features a curved 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) P-OLED display touting a pixel density of 403ppi, it is protected by re-hardened Corning Gorilla Glass 3 dubbed as Dura-Guard glass. The firm claims the protective glass is 20% stronger and 30% more durable.

The G Flex 2 is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with Adreno 430 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Notably, the G Flex 2 is the first smartphone launched in 2015 to packs Qualcomm latest Snapdragon 810 SoC. The curved phone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS+ and twin toned LED flash while it also houses 2.1-megapixel front camera.

The LG G Flex 2 comes in two storage variants: 16GB and 32GB, both of which is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi 802.11 ac, 3G, 4G LTE-A, GPS/A-GPS, SlimPort, GLONASS and USB 2.0. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery with fast charging technology, the battery can turbo boost up to 50% in 40 minutes.
