Micromax earlier this week added a new smartphone to its Nitro series, the Canvas Nitro (A311). The phone is listed on the firm website without pricing and availability.

The Canvas Nitro A311 possess identical specifications with Canvas Nitro A310 that was launched in September except the first sporting 8GB storage while the later comes with a 16GB built-in storage that is expandable via MicroSD (up to 32GB).

The smartphone features a 5-inch IPS display with a HD resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It support dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. Under the hood, the device packs an octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor with a clock speed of 1.7GHz, coupled with Mali 450 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

The Canvas Nitro (A311) sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX135 CMOS sensor and LED flash, while it also houses a 5-megapixel front camera.
