LG on Wednesday launched a new smartphone with Firefox OS in Japan, the Fx0. The smartphone is priced at JPY 50,000 (Roughly $420 US Dollars, #80,000 Nigerian Nairas) and will be available on Thursday limited sale while it will fully goes on sale starting from January 6 next year. Global availability is yet to be revealed.

The most notable feature is its transparent body that reveals internal part of the device.

The smartphone support single SIM and features a 4.7-inch HD (720*1280 pixels) IPS display and runs Firefox OS 2.0. Notably, the LG Fx0 is the first smartphone by the firm to run Firefox OS.

The device is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 with a clock speed of 1.2GHz, coupled with 1.5GHz of RAM. It comes with a 16GB internal storage which is expandable up to 64GB via MicroSDXC card.

The LG Fx0 sports an 8-megapixel rear snapper with LED flash and 2.1-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth, Wifi, 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2,370mAh battery.
