Xolo has launched a new low-budget smartphone under its "Q" series in India, the Q710s. The phone is listed on the firm website at Rs 6,999 (approximately $115 USD, NGN 21,000 Nigerian Nairas} while availability is not mentioned.
Xolo Q710s Specifications
The Xolo Q710s features a 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 540x960 pixels, touting a pixel density of 245ppi. It support dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz, slammed with 1GB of RAM.
The Q710s sports an 8-megapixel rear snapper with LED flash, and houses a secondary VGA front camera for video calling. There's 8GB internal storage onboard which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.
On the connectivity front, the Xolo Q710s support 3G, Wifi with Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, GPRS/EDGE, FM radio and Micro-USB. It is backed by 2000mAh battery which the firm claims can last up to 22 hours of talk time on 2G.
Last month, Xolo launched One with Android 4.4 KitKat in India at Rs 6,599 ($108 US Dollars), the firm claimed the phone is upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
