Xolo One With KitKat Launched, Upgradeable To Android 5.0 Lollipop

Xolo on friday launched a low cost Android smartphone in India, dubbed as One. The phone is listed on the firm website at Rs 6,599 (approx $108) without availability details.


The Xolo One features a 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 480x854 pixels. It offers dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box which the firm claims is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The smartphone is driven by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz, coupled with 1GB of RAM. There is 8GB internal storage onboard that can be expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD.

The Xolo One houses a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a VGA front camera. Connectivity options included are Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. It backed by a 1,700mAh removable Li-ion battery, rated to deliver up to 377hrs of standby (3G).

Earlier this week, Xolo launched Android 4.4 KitKat running smartphone, the Opus HD. The phone features a 4.5-inch display, 1.2GHz quad-core SoC, 1GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage, 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.
