Gionee on Thursday launch a mid-budget smartphone in China, the GN715. While the global availability has not be confirmed, the phone is exclusively available on the company website with a price tag of CNY 1,699 (approx $283).
The Gionee GN715 features a 5-inch IPS displayw with a HD resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and support 4G LTE.
The smartphone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon, clocked at 1.2GHz alongside with 1GB of RAM. It packs a 4GB built-in storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD.
The GN715 houses an 8-megapixel rear shutter with LED flash, and 5-megapixel secondary front camera for selfie shot. Connectivity options included are Wifi with Hotspot, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by 2000mAh removable Li-ion battery.
Last Month, Gionee launched a mid budget smartphone in India, the Gpad G5. The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat and its driven by a Cortex A7 hexa-core processor.
