The Chinese phone maker Lava has unveiled a new low-budget Android smartphone under its "Iris" series, the Iris 360 Music. The phone is currently listed on the company website at a price tag of Rs 4,799 (approx $80) with no availability details.

The Iris 360 features a 3.5-inch TFT display with a screen resolution of 320x480 pixels. It offers dual SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality and runs the dated Android 4.2 Jelly bean out-of-the-box.

The device is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor of unknown chipset, slammed with 512MB of RAM. There is 4GB built-in storage onboard, which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD.

The Iris 360 Music sports a 3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling. Connectivity options included with the Iris 360 Music are Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G, GPS and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 1400mAh Li-ion battery, rated to deliver up to 250 hours of standby time on 3G network.

Last month, Lava launch the Iris 460 in India. The smartphone features a 4.5-inch display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 5MP rear camera, and 0.3MP front camera.
