The revamped Nokia 3310 that was launched at MWC earlier this year has finally got a 3G model according to an announcement made by HMD Global earlier today. This offers 3G network connectivity that the previous release lacks but that's not all, it also comes in two new color variants, Azure and Charcoal.

It has been redesigned and most of the hardware components has been reshuffled. The LED flash (which also acts as a touchlight) has been moved from the side of the camera to the top; the speaker grill from the left side of the camera to the bottom, while the Micro-USB port and the 3.5mm headphones jack still resides at the top for easy access.

Moreover, HMD Global revealed that new Nokia 3310 3G keypad has been re-aligned with more spacing now provided between the keys for convenient typing. The UI boasts of some positive changes too. The menu icons color can now be changed and users can change the icons position as well.

Most of the specs still remains the same with minor changes implemented here and there. Firstly, the new 3G version comes with 64MB of inbuilt storage, that is an additional 48MB when compared with the 16MB storage on the 2G version. There is a MicroSD slot to further expand the storage up to 32GB.

The Nokia 3310 3G features a 2.4-inch QVGA (320x240) color display and runs Java operating system. It comes pre-installed with the popular classic snake game and social network apps, such as Twitter, Facebook, and Skype. It has Opera Mini set as the default browser.

The feature phone packs a 1200mAh removable Li-ion battery, which can renders up to 6.5 hours of talk time and 27 days of standby time. It wears a price tag of €69 ($81) and will be available from mid-October.
