Nougat-Powered Gionee X1 with 2GB RAM, 3000mAh Battery Hit India

Gionee has introduced an entry-level smartphone with 4G VoLTE supports in India called X1. The phone was initially launched in Nepal in July this year. It will be available at select online and offline stores across India starting this week with various buy offers included as well.

The phone comes with a 5-inch IPS display with HD (1280x720) resolution and pixel density of 294ppi. Under its hood is a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset clocked at 1.3GHz, paired with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. A 16GB of inbuilt storage is included with the device, which is further expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD card.

There is a fingerprint sensor on the back for security and right above the fingerprint sensor is an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash. The Gionee X1 also sports an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat with Amigo 4.0 UI on top. It supports dual SIM and offers Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, 3G, 2G, GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB as connectivity options. The phone is backed by a 3000mAh battery.

The Gionee X1 comes in Black and Gold colors and is priced at Rs 8,999 ($135).
