Xiaomi Mi Laser Projector

The Apple of China, Xiaomi, at its special Mi Ecosystem event in China today announced a new laser projector that can beam an image size of up to 150-inch on a wall. The Mi Laser Projector as called uses ALPD 3.0, which is world’s leading sources of laser technology.

The device impressive capabilities extends to its designed properties, boasting a brightness of 5000 lumens and contrast ratio of 3000:1. This makes the projected image visible even in a highly lit room. The projector uses APPTRONICS and Texas Instruments’ tech to provide the light source, using optoelectronic technology and DLP imaging chip.

Mi Laser Projector Speakers

For entertainment pleasure, the Mi Laser projector comes baked-in with Mi TV, and there are four high efficient built-in speakers on deck certified with DTS and Dolby Digital for immersive audio experience when watching movies or shows.

In terms of connectivity, it has USB 3.0 port, 3x HDMI ports, AV-input, Audio-out, S/PDIF, and Ethernet port.

The projector costs CNY 9999 ($1,470). It will be available via the company crowdfunding platform from 4th of July.
