Xiaomi-Mi-Max-2-2017

Xiaomi has officially announced Mi Max 2, the company's latest Android phablet and the successor of Mi Max that was released in June last year. It maintains same screen size and resolution as its predecessor, but this is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625—a lesser chipset when compared with Snapdragon 652/650 that powered the previous.

It has a curved metallic body design that is slightly thicker at 7.6mm (Mi Max is 7.5mm) but this is due to a larger battery it packs behind. The Mi Max 2 houses a 5300mAh battery, that is roughly 10-percent more than what its predecessor has. This can be quickly filled up to 68-percent within an hour via Quick Charge 3.0.

Furthermore, the Mi Max 2 comes with an improved rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor for great photo capture, although the megapixel is lower than that of Mi Max. In overall, the Mi Max 2 tends to have offer a significant upgrade in battery life while other areas are slightly downgraded or remains the same.
