Intex New Entry-Level Phone Offers Android Nougat and 4G VoLTE for $63

Intex Aqua A4

Intex has launched Aqua A4 in India, the company's latest entry-level smartphone in the Aqua series with 4G VoLTE. Specwise, the device features a 4.0-inch TN capacitive touch display with WVGA (800x480) resolution and 2-point multi-touch supports.

Diving in, it is driven by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, slammed with 1GB of RAM and Mali 400 GPU. The phone comes with an 8GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 64GB via MicroSD.

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of Intex new device is Android 7.0 Nougat it runs out-of-the-box. There are two SIM slots onboard that can accommodates two Micro SIMs at a time for dual use, with the primary SIM supporting 4G VoLTE while the secondary SIM supports only 3G.

In photography, the Aqua A4 is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, while it hold a 2-megapixel camera at the front for video-calling. Other connectivity options included are Bluetooth, WiFi, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB. It measures 125x64x11.2mm, weighs 119.5 grams, and is powered by a 1,750mAh battery.

Painted in Black color, the Aqua A4 is priced at Rs 4,199 (US$63). It will be available at online and offline stores across the region in coming days.
