Gionee M6S Plus with 256GB Storage, 6GB RAM, 6020mAh Battery Launched

Gionee M6S Plus

Gionee in third-quarter last year launched M6 Plus in China, today, the company has released an upgraded version of the smartphone called M6S Plus with faster chipset and higher storage capacity in same region.

The phablet-sized device features a 6.0-inch 2.5D AMOLED display just like its predecessor, but this is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor instead of MediaTek Helio P10. Gionee is also offering up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage on its latest smartphone. To reminds you, the M6 Plus comes with 4GB of RAM and a maximum of 128GB of storage.

The new M6S Plus sports a 12MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture. We consider this a slight downgrade when compare with the former which boasts a 16MP rear camera but with f/2.0 aperture, though the dual-tone LED flash still remains intact.

The phone comes with a dedicated encrypted chip for data protection, houses a fingerprint scanner at the rear, and is backed by a 6,020mAh battery with fast charging supports.
