Galaxy Xcover

Samsung is expected to launch its first flagship device in 2017, the Galaxy Tab S3 at MWC and Galaxy S8 shortly after, but it seems the company has another smartphone at work according to a new report that surfaced online. The Galaxy Xcover 4 (SM-G390) as named may find its way out before any of the aforementioned devices launches later this month if fate has it.

Its rugged build and its strength to survive fall from a height of up 1.2 meters will also earns it MIL-STD 810G certification.

The phone will features a 4.8-inch HD (1280x720) display and will be powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos 7570 processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage, and Mali-T720 GPU. A 13-megapixel camera will comes equipped at the rear with a single LED flash sitting besides it, and a 5-megapixel camera at the front for taking selfie. Common connectivity such as Bluetooth, WiFi, 4G LTE, GPS and GLONASS will also make it inside.

We should hear from Samsung soon regarding its upcoming rugged device.
