Since Walt Disney acquired Lucasfilm in late 2012, the original maker of the seven episodes of the legendary Star Wars movie, Disney has only released one episode which was "The Force Awaken" in 2015. Now, there is another on the way scheduled for December 16 release dubbed "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story". The Japanese firm Softbank, wants to bring this movie far earlier to Star Wars fans in Japan before it arrives to theaters and the only way to do this is by releasing a smartphone completely customize with Star Wars characters.

We like to think of Softbank as the frontier because the phone is made by Sharp. The smartphone includes Star Wars themes, wallpapers, ringtones, skins for pre-installed apps, Star Wars alarm clock and emojis, Star Wars live wallpaper, and a dedicated Star Wars movie player that lets you watch The Force Awaken with subtitle included. The outer layer (body) of the smartphone is also themed to match the movie.
