Along with the newly announced Mi Note 2 Xiaomi also launched Mi Mix, the company's second high-end smartphone to be unveiled at its "Curved to Impress" event in Beijing today. The phablet-size device disavow the now-commonly use metal body but instead opted for a more premium ceramic body that touts a thickness of 7.9mm. Xiaomi is also flaunting its mouth-gaping 90% screen-to-body ratio and nearly bezel-less design.

Another notable feature is ultrasonic technology used to deliver voice on calls without the use of earpiece via a process called Cantilever piezoelectric. In addition, the Mi Mix house its front camera below the display and not above. It features a 6.4-inch full-HD display; packs a Snapdragon 821 chipset; sports 16MP rear camera, and is backed by a 4400mAh battery.

It comes in two options, 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM with 256GB storage, both not offering MicroSD expansion slots.
