Intex Aqua S2

Intex has launched a new budget smartphone in India called Aqua S2. The device comes with entry-level specs but surprisingly packs a fingerprint sensor at the back despite its cheap price tag of Rs 4,990 ($75). As of now, the Intex Aqua S2 remains one of the cheapest fingerprint-enabled smartphone in India, however, it lacks 4G LTE.

The phone features a 5-inch capacitive touch display with a resolution of 854x480 pixel. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor clubbed with 1GB of RAM and Mali-400 GPU. It includes an 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. Android 6.0 Marshmallow takes care of all software activities and there two SIM slots onboard with dual-Standby.

In photography, the Aqua S2 hosts dual 5-megapixel cameras, one equipped at the rear and the other at the front. The rear camera is accompanied with a LED flash. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi with Hotspot, 3G, 2G, GPS, and Micro-USB. The phone measures 146.4×73×9.65mm and weigh 153.8 grams, it is backed by a 2450mAh battery.

It will be available in White, Champagne, and Grey colours when it go on sale later this month.
