HP Spectre x360 2016 with Slimmer Build, Up to 7th-Gen Core i7 Launched

HP has launched second-generation of one of its slimmest 2-in-1 hybrid tablet around, Spectre x360, with a slimmer and lighter build, faster processor and enhanced battery life. The Spectre x360 2016 is about 2mm thinner and 11% lighter than 2015 model, measuring just 13.8mm at its thinnest point and weigh 1.29kg. The device still maintains its premium aluminium build and 360-degree rotatable hinge that offers Tablet, Stand, Tent, and Notebook modes, though the hinge has been redesign.

Another notable difference is the processor it packs inside. The Spectre x360 2016 is powered by a 7th-Gen Intel Core i5 (Kabylake) processor and can configured with up to 7th-Gen Core i7 (Kabylake). To reminds you, the 2015 model is powered by 5th-Gen Core i series. It comes in two display options, 13.3-inch diagonal full-HD (1920x1080) display and 15.6-inch diagonal Quad-HD (2560x1440) display.

The Spectre x360 2016 model includes up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB PCIe SSD storage. Taking entertainment and sound quality to next level, the tablet is loaded with four speakers enhanced with HP Audio Boost and Bang & Olufsen. Apart from positive changes in Design and Processor, the connectivity sector experience upgrade too. Sitting at the sides are two USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 supports and USB 3.0 Type-A port. Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11ac are not left behind.

Other features included are Webcam, backlit keyboard and glass trackpad. The tablet runs Windows 10 Home out-of-the-box and offers up to 15 hours of battery life with fast charging support.

The HP Spectre x360 2016 is available at a starting price of $1,049.99 USD on HP online store and Best Buy.
