Google Daydream View VR Headset Announced, to arrive in November

Google Daydream View VR Headset

Google has officially announced its VR headset dubbed Daydream View at an ongoing event in San Francisco. The device was first unveiled at Google I/0 in May but now we know its pricing and availability details.

Based on Google-own Daydream platform, the headset runs Android 7.0 Nougat and is made ready to seamlessly work with the newly launched Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. Google reveal that its outer layer is made of soft micro fiber which makes the device lighter than others trending in market and provides more comfort when pull on. It also comes with a controller for easy accessibility.

Google further reveal that it has partnered with phone makers including Samsung, Xiaomi, HTC, LG, Asus, and ZTE for readying smartphones that will support the VR Headset. The Google Daydream View comes in Slate, Crimson, and Snow colors and will be available from November at a price of $79 USD.
