Gionee P7 Max with 2.2GHz Octa-Core Chipset, 3GB RAM Launched at $198

Gionee has silently launched a new mid-flagship device in Nepal called P7 Max few days after the company introduced S6 Pro in India, which happens to arrive at Nepal at same time. The phone sports a full metal body painted in golden color and flaunts a full-HD (1920x1080) display resolution, packed in a 5.5-inch screen. It comes with a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6595 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz, alongside with PowerVR G600 GPU and 3GB of RAM.

A 32GB of storage is placed inside for hosting files and data but there is no confirmation yet on MicroSD expansion slot. Like other newly released Gionee smartphones, the P7 Max runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with Amigo UI 3.2 on top and offers dual SIM functionality via two SIM slots onboard. In camera aspect, the device houses a 13-megapixel camera at the rear with LED flash while a 5-megapixel selfie camera is placed at the front.

Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. A 3100mAh battery turn it on but there's no detail yet if it support fast charging.

The Gionee P7 Max wears a price tag of Rs NPR 21,999 ($198). Availability for other markets is unknown.
