Meizu M3 Max Goes Official: Includes 6" full-HD display, 3GB RAM, 4G VoLTE

Meizu M3 Max

Meizu has launched M3 Max in China, the company's latest high-end smartphone and a more powerful variant of M3 that was released earlier this year. It features a 6-inch full-HD (1920x1080) IPS display flaunting a pixel density of 367ppi, and is driven on the inside by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, slammed with 3GB of RAM and Mali-T860 GPU.

Wrapped in a metal body that measures 163.4 81.6 7.94mm and weigh 189 grams, the M3 Max comes with a 64GB of built-in storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card. It runs YunOS topped with Flyme UI, and offers hybrid dual SIM slots that enables the second SIM slot to be use as MicroSD slot. At the front beneath the home button is a fingerprint sensor for smart security and authentication.

In optics, the phone houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, Phase Detection Auto Focus, Sony IMX258 sensor and dual-tone LED flash, while it harbors a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfie. In connectivity aspects, the device supports Bluetooth 4.1 LE, WiFi, 4G LTE + VoLTE, 3G, 2G, and GPS/A-GPS. It is backed by a 4100mAh battery with fast charging.

The Meizu M3 Max is available for pre-orders in China at a price of CNY 1699 ($254 USD) and will start shipping from next week. It is painted in four different colors, Champagne Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, and Grey.
